Claims to be from the tax office in a prerecorded message- scam!

This number called me yesterday asking to meet with me for optus. I said I was happy with my current service and asked them not to call me. Got a call from the same service on private and when I said that I'd communicated my preferences yesterday, the person hung up. Both times it was a woman with an Indian accent. I tried to call 9005 8504 and the number was disconnected.

I called back number (03) 9005 8504 just kept on ringing no one answered the call and never got any voice mail.

Caller: Fraud/scammers

Received an automated voice call about committing a serious tax fraud. It’s was clearly a scam and I have blocked the number from contacting me in the future.

Caller: Jim Harris, Michael Patrick, pretentious ATO SCAMMERS

(03) 9005 8504 very unsafe. Traumatized me mentally with ATO SCAM. Threatened to arrest me with a warrant, accused me of tax fraud, played a recorded Australian voiced Pretentious voice recording saying i was a primary suspect of tax fraud and they'll file they case to cops and commonwealth court if I don't quickly pay 1000dollars and pay 3000dollars more on installments in the following weeks.

Caller: I don't know

Scam!! Didn't answer the call and left a voicemessage with an automated message stating I was being done for tax avoidance and could possibly face jail time and to ring the number back. Definitely a scam!

Caller: TAX OFFICE (So it claimed)

I got a call from this number purporting to be from the tax office with a pre-recorded voicemail. The voicemail threatened jail term for tax avoidance and required me to press 1. My taxes are ok so I reckon this was dodgy, data theft effort

Recorded message was left on Phone advising I had tax avoidance issues and to call back or preferably to hit number 1 on my phone

Got a call. Appears to be a robo-caller impersonating the tax office. Threatened my arrest. I would be careful.

Left a message about my imminent arrest. Clearly another con artist.
Blocked the number.

I just called back and they pretended to be the ATO - definitely fake!

Caller: Foreign accent masquerading as an Australian tax officer

This number called at 0645 hrs this morning. Said it was the Australian tax office and gave me his authorisation number. I said will you please hold the line as I work in HR department for Australia tax and I am going to check the records. He called me a mother f*cker several times then hung up

When I answered a robotic voice started to say 'The ATO....' that's the point I hung up

This number left me a message saying I was in trouble for tax avoidance and there is a warrant out for my arrest!

SCAM. Said they were from Tax Office ... 'Your name flagged for tax underpayment ... ' and so on. A voice message, not an in person speaking. Hung up at that point

Scam call. Didn't pick up, the voice answering machine left a message about tax avoidance.

Call was a recorded message claiming to be from Tax Office regarding tax avoidance & unanswered documents sent by mail. Hung up & returned call but the phone cut out. Do not trust, respond to or provide any details to this caller.

Voicemail said taxation department has a warrant for my arrest. Obviously scam.

Caller: It's the ATO scam

The usual call claiming to be from the ATO saying you haven't paid tax and are going to be arrested etc.
