Scam. Recorded message saying my credit card would have $1000 or more withdrawn for iTunes gift cards.
Absolutely nothing honest about it. Just hang up. Or leave it running and walk away from your phone. Your choice.

Recorded message saying they were going to take over $200 out of my account to pay for gift cards. I did not stay on any longer than this, just hung up! Getting very tired of all these types of calls, you can't stop them, there is always another number that rings you again. I have blocked this one but it won't be long before they have another number. I was also called in the last few days and even a message left when I didn't answer to say that money going to be taken to be paid for anti-virus protection for computer (both these calls were to my mobile on this occasion).

I just received a call from this number just as others have stated. A women's recorded voice stating I would be getting money credited to my account. When the number is recalled it makes as strange ring sound an hangs up.

Caller: I don't know some foreign accent male most definitely received a scam call from this number, they rang me and when i answered there was an automated recording informing me that my ebay account was to be debited $199 for the purchase of an ITunes gift card. Then spoke with a male voice with a foreign accent on the other end and he advised me that my ebay account had been compromised and in order to cancel the transaction i would need to download an APP from the app store and provide my details in the app and the transaction would be cancelled immediately. I told him this sounded like a scam and put me through to your supervisor. So, then with no hold music or anything all of a sudden i was apparently speaking to a Peter Whittiker (or sounding similar name) and that he was supervisor of ebay (which sounded a lot like the last male voice with an accent that i was speaking to). I told him he was full of crap and this this was obviously a scam but he insisted that it wasn't and i needed to download the app straight away otherwise i would be charged $199. To which i responded by promptly hanging up on him. The hide of these scammers!!! Please people be careful not to fall for their elaborate stories that are full of crap!!! They make me so angry.

Caller: (03) 9005 7528 Said they were from eBay and were callin about hackers who had ordered a iTunes card on my account. Got pretty cranky with me when I asked them for my future information about who I was and why they know this as I don’t have eBay linked with my mobile.
