I received a call from (02) 9821 2763, claiming to be Telstra but the content was suspicious and asked me to call this number (03) 9005 6862) which I would pursue. When I called here, the caller told me that my computer had been hacked and that there were 9,000 errors and other lame lies.
This was at a time when Telstra's internet was disconnected and Telstra said they would send a technician the following Tuesday, but this caller said they didn't have the manpower and they would fix it remotely on their computer.
