Caller: Claimed to be Telstra Claimed to be Telstra calling to let me know that my private IP was running on public. He hung up when I said I'm not with Telstra

Same happened to me today. I asked for her Telstra ID number and she quoted a list from alphabet. I said that is not correct and she is a scanner and I hung up.

Caller: (03) 9003 1149 Said was from Telstra, IP address had been switched from private to public, strung them along for a bit, deff scam, hung up when I asked why he hadn’t verified my account first.
