Calling to suggest my IP address was compromised and my personal data at risk. Eventually the lady hung up as I clearly was not interested in dealing with this supposed 'crisis' and was wasting her time by continuously asking who she was and why she was calling. Glad to have wasted several minutes of her time. Received a call from a very similar number 2 hours later that left a voicemail saying 'hello' only with clear sounds of a call centre in the background. Likely a scam call centre!

person who called me on (03) 9003 1134 said they were calling from the Telstra Technical Department. When I questioned them as to why he was calling me they said my network was compromised and hackers could gain access to my personal information. They wanted me to download software that would give THEM access to my phone. The callers were the hackers.

I answered and said hello twice and got no response and hung up quickly. Assumed it was a scam call.

I am getting lots off calls from this number and everytime I block it it changes its last 2 numbers and rings again

The person who called me on (03) 9003 1134 said they were calling from the Telstra Technical Department. When I questioned them as to why he was calling me, he said “do you think this is a joke” and then hung up. I tried to call the number back (voice message said “welcome to customer service”) but it only let me leave a message so I didn’t bother. Sounded sus

got two calls from simiilar number only difference last two numbers reversed so going assume its a scam call centre as phone warned on both potential scam"

They said hello in a familiar tone of voice, I kept my voice all business saying hello again, they repeated saying hello AGAIN then hung up. No idea what that was about, but it was probably yet another sales call I suspect.
