Caller: Robot call

Robot call - VIC state election survey, but they don't disclose which company they represent. I won't answer surveys unless I know the name of the company. HANG-UP!!!

Answered but they hung up straight away. I'll bet it was a robot that checks that numbers are valid and creats a list that they sell to serial pests and scammers etc. There really should be something done about this. It's just too easy for them to do it at the moment.

I have had three of these calls in a day. Nothing at the other end and just hangs up after I answer. So mcuh for the Do not Call register!

Australia must be the only country in the world, that a phone company can't do nothing about this sh*t, but the ceos get the fat pay checks for nothing and also the politicians, what a joke

I'd be interested to know how their calls are "compliant" when they don't disclose who they are or who they are working for. That's either BS or the regulations aren't protecting us at all!

Sick and tired of these calls. I don’t live in Victoria where they seem to be coming from. I just don’t answer them. Am also on the Do Not Call Register. This doesn’t help at all. I block all these calls but they just get another number.

Have called my mobile phone 3 times in the past 2 1/2 hrs & don’t leave a message.

5th number from same robot message iv had to block in the space of just 3 hrs... who can I specifically complain too?

If my phone says it is suspected spam I block it straight away.
My winger today is that now they are coming in as spam and they have a Melbourne number. I have an illness that requires treatment in Melbourne and numbers can all be different but from the same place. It is a very large inconvenience to me.
I certainly hope they are not real as I will block if my phone tells me it is suspected spam.

In line with other comnents against this telephone no - this is a ROBOCALL = BLOCK

Suggestion - block all numbers with prefix 03 9001 xxxx - often scammers buy out a bunch of suffixes for a number & cycle through all of them every so often.

Best way to drop off the list is"
1. don't answer & block
2. if you answer, say nothing (silence) so the automated dialler thinks the call is a deadend & may drop you off the list
3. same as for no. 1 - DO NOT PICK UP!

Unclear why the Government doesn't have Federal policies against this type of 'newer' marketing scam..... they are used alot overseas & filtering across here.....

They called at 6pm - I checked this website and decided to block it based on this advice.

Rings a few times then hangs up. Don't leave a message. I've blocked the number.

Voting preference robo call. Doesn't disclose which research company. Unethical!!
