Caller: Scammer claiming they're from NAB (03) 8870 7267 called and woman asked "Is this......?" I said "Who is calling?" She said her name, she's calling from NAB and calling me for a personal banking matter. She just needs to verify my name. I told her I will contact NAB myself and find out myself. She said that's ok and I should call 132265 (which is in fact NAB's contact number, but anyone really can find out this number).
I then hung up and called NAB myself. They verified nothing is wrong with my accounts and that the call I received was a scam.
** If in doubt, hang up and call the agency yourself! **

Caller: (03) 8870 7267 This number has called several times this week. I miss the calls as phone on silent, but they never leave a message. Answered one today, complete silence on end of line. Also had several calls in this timeframe from "no caller ID".
