Rang me about tax deductions on payroll tax. Said I didn’t have time, ring back later.
So googled phone number, and came up as fake. So rang the number, no hello or company name as real business would do. I just pretended pocket dialled and didn’t answer.

tried to call back the number. repeating came back as busy. blocked the number

Caller: Oracle from South Yarra?

They said they were from Oracle in South Yarra, I had entered my details on social media for an expression of interest, something about putting tax towards my mortgage. Said I had no idea what they were talking about and they said they would take me off my books. Certainly didn't sign up for anything and no idea where they got my details (had my name and phone number).

They called me. They said they were a conducting a survey to see if I qualified for a government tax rebate/grant of $20,000 per year for ten years. They take 20 grand from my payroll tax and put it on my mortgage. You only qualify if you have 150 grand equity in your house

Called back asked me to leave a message on voicemail

Called number back it went to voicemail didn't say what company it was
