did not take the call as i did not recognise it

Just got this call again. 2nd time they've rung and I haven't been able to answer. Both times they've left a msg saying i've been credited with money to my phone account or some bulsh*t. I've now saved the number in my phone making the name "DONT ANSWER" so I don;'t get tricked into answering. Bastards :)Going to check out that Do Not Call register now

I received this call also, I have never subscribed to anything, where did this company get my number from.

I got this call today at 7.14pm. It's exactly like what most people have said. It's a prerecorded quiz making you answer questions. It's really annoying.

I too got a call from them on Wednesday 9 December.  I did a bit of extra investigating and they have aanother number (also listed on this site)- (07) 3018 0586.  If you call that number (whcih looks like a Brisbane number, whereas the other looked like Melboure or Tasmania)  you get the exact same spiel - same voices and everything.  I don't think anyone has made the link yet.  But if you try googling not the number, but 'Quiz + Kevin Rudd + telemarketer'  you will see there are actually a few different numbers this identical service comes from.  I am not sure how they know, but one of the comments on this website I found was that it is owned by a company called Inveturis Pty Ltd.  My online investigations reveal this is a company based in Carindale, Brisbane.     HAs enyone been charged for calling them yet?

I got the same call at about 11:35am.

My concern is what would have happened if I'd pressed a number instead of sitting there silently.  The call was disconnected when I didn't hit 1 or 2 within a few seconds.

My number has been on the DNC register for a very long time.

It makes me wonder what our government is doing about this type of activity.  It must be legal.
