I like Nicole, but I am worried for her, she never sounds happy when she calls. I press 1 to talk to a technician, because I am worried about Nicole's mental state, I'm pretty sure 99% of the people she calls hang up on her, but not me, I want to know she's OK. The technicians never let me speak to her either, which now, is making me wonder if they have her in some sort of hostage situation as she sounds Australian and has no foreign accent so she draws you in thinking it's not a scammer calling you, I mean Dave, one of the technicians has a strong Indian accent, so that sets my scam alert alarm off, but not Nicole.......poor Nicole.

I love Nicole and she loves me, we talk at least 3 times per day... Her Tech people must be very jealous though as when I try to speak with them they hang up on me.. No problem, Nicole will ring me back I'm sure.

Hi, this is Nicole from the Australian National Broadband Network.
We have been trying to get in touch with YOU!
However, we are going to disconnect your landline and internet connection within the next 24 hours as the NBN Services are now available in your locality.
SO, for uninterrupted services, please press 1 to get yourself connected to the technician.

Rubbish.
The tech is readily available(less complex that the filter slowing all of our internet connections down) to block reported off shore numbers because the govt can filter and trace *if they choose to*.They are too busy wasting our taxes on themselves, pork barrelling and lining their 'trust funded' (oxymoron) pockets. The only thing apart from self interest stopping th end of this scam/spam/trolling nuisance crap is the apathy that enables these trough dwellers

I get through to the Tech then ask them if they wouldn't mind waiting for a minute while I go and do something quickly, then see how long they wait...some wait quite a while until they hang up. I have a spreadsheet happening. I'm thinking of applying for a grant for a study on the subject.

f*ck off Nicole, and tell your miserable 'idiot' counterparts to do the same. I always press to talk because I just know they are gonna make my day. I so enjoy telling them where they should go and what I think that they are: "F#$% off C#$%". Ungrateful people always hang up on me.

I was really worried that my service would be disconnected - NOT but I played along. I was connected to a technician who directed me to a google search for my 1P address which showed a phony screen showing an IP address in California. he then tried to convince me that I have been compromised and he would rectify the situation. I then asked about why they had called me about my internet being cut off. He insisted on my opening Teamviwer and giving him my ID and Password so he could rectify the problems in my computer.

If anyone else receives a call like this DO NOT GIVE OUT THIS INFORMATION. they will use it to remote access your computer and retrieve your personal information as well as bank access and passwords.

This is a serious SCAM.

Nicole hasn't called in months. We used to speak every day, sometimes several times. I have been so depressed since she decided to move on from our relationship, thinking it was going nowhere. The anti depressants barely helped. Alcohol sent me to an even darker place. Then, out of the blue, she rings again. My heart soared, my spirits lifted. She hasn't forgotten me. Thank you Nicole, you have restored meaning to my life.

Whomever "Nicole from the NBN" is, I think she is a disgrace and the most unpatriotic Australian I hope I never meet. In fact, I hope she finds a better country to live in and swiftly departs for regions unknown. How much were you paid Nicole? What a miserable person you are.

When will she give up calling me? She has been consistently calling me over the past year. What a sham! I wonder how many people are fooled and give away personal information?

I agree Anonymous, I am very concerned for Nicole and her welfare. I doubt it would be a hostage situation though, I'm more concerned for her job. Does she not realise that the Australian Broadband Network doesn't exist? Instead in it's place in reality is this half-baked government offshoot, the National Broadband Network, I mean, I know Nicole has to keep a job and feed her 47 children, that requires a very high paying and important role in an organisation, however I'm concerned with her future situation with so many mouths to feed at home... poor Nicole.

Hi Nicole
You are fairly stupid as the NBN doesn't control people's accounts they only control wether it is working or not.
Believe me I should know we had no Home Ph and no Internet from Dec 2017 to mid April 2018 My Mother thru some of this added stress, sadly died 31/5/2018.
As to waking up my 93 yr old dying Father daily you really pxxs me off.

I have better things to do than race to the Home Phone or answer my Mobile.

Please download and go away...

Wasting Scammers Time

I get these calls often. I press 1 to speak to a technician and waste their time talking niceties. I figure that the longer they are speaking to me, the less time they have to scam another victim. After about five to 10 minutes, I tell them they sound cute, and ask them if they are interested in a threesome, which is usually the point when they hang up on me...
Scam the scammers.

Nicole from the NBN calls me often. With her Australian accent, what a traitor she is to her country for taking part in a scam that seeks to rob the vulnerable, elderly and disabled, of their much needed finances. Nicole is a disgusting person and the scam is being run by pathetic human beings who are criminals and unable to find respectable jobs. I hang up on Nicole regularly. She is no friend of mine. Despicable.
