Robo voice I am wanted by police and need to pay money over the phone to stop them from coming and arresting me

It’s a scam. Says they’re offering free hearing tests over the phone. The goal is to record you saying key phrases like your name, date of birth etc & “yes” etc so they can then use the audio to steal your identity.

I answered but there was no response.

No, this is a legit number by the company Amplifon, and we do offer free hearing tests - you can check at www.amplifon.com

This number has called me twice with in 30 mins , I didn't answer. I then checked the number on this web site only to find out it's a robo voice and I have to pay money or the police will arrest me . ( What next ?? )

I called this number back and reached a voicemail thanking me for calling Amplifon and a quick google search confirmed it's a hearing centre. FYI - they also call from (03) 8691 0604.

Robo voice, not clear. Did not ask to be contacted. Offering free hearing tests. Called 2 days in a row but stopped after that. I have no idea how they had my number for this.

The pricks hung up before I got to answer. I have blocked the number

Said to be from amplifon. Try to talk me into booking a hearing test. I told him multiple times that I didn't need it.
Nuisance!!!

If legit number then have the operator introduce themselves when we answer with 'hello'
