This number is from the Commonwealth Bank in Melbourne.When they have a promotional offer, this is what they use.  It is constantly engaged as they are constantly calling people on it.Nothing to worry.

I got the same thing. worried that my phone has been hacked. People can listen into your phone calls they can even hear your private conversations when your phone is completley turned off. Can anyone say whether this has happened to our phones.

This is probably one of the most financially dangerous phone calls you can get. A CBA officer from melbourne will call you with your full file in front of him/her and go through your full accounts: are you happy with your card limits, home loan, deposits, etc and DO YOU WANT TO MAKE CHANGES ?  Don't be sucked in by the Aussie accent from Melbourne. Without having these offers put to you in writing, ON THE SPOT, at an impromtu time,   and with out allowing you to compare them with market place position is asking for trouble.
