Got an agent telling me he is from Telstra for savings on my landline and broadband but had no idea of my account details and had no idea I don't use Telstra broadband. Total fraud just hang up

I have been getting calls from this number almost every day for over a year now. Same as above comments, asking if I am using my landline to access the internet, often claiming to be Telstra. How do I stop this?

I am retired after having worked on computers since the early 1970s. If I am bored I enjoy playing them along for a while (at least 15 mins) before telling them (the Indian) that he is not far up the food chain and to hopefully choke on his / her vindaloo tonight. This normally gets them swearing which means I have really pissed them off. It helps to pass the time when I have nothing better to do. Unfortunately they will call again in a few weeks and we do the same again. If only they would mark my number as being hostile and to be avoided.

I've had several calls today from this number I answered same story he had all my details last phone bill amount etc, how much internet in using saying I was getting a new modem and when it was delivered they would need proof of identity such as drivers license number or Medicare number alarm bells went up then I contacted Telstra as with them having my details I have since blocked them and same as someone above I'd. Recently completed a woolies survey for a voucher and nothing so people watch out sneaky bastards

I called back number (03) 8683 5348 was put on hold music but no one answered the call and did not say from what company.

They are scammers. Ask for Terry Mackachoot and they'll show their true colours.

I have so many different scam numbers calling daily for couple of months now. I just keep ignoring and blocking and blocking. Lately many txts too. I heard many corrupt/ scam business's sell our details to eachother??

Got a call claiming they were from telstra she said I'm ringing you in regards to your home line i get these calls all the time , i am so sick of these calls , I'm not interested in what they have to say , as for a landline i don't have one , therefore they should stop calling people about this .

Telef*ckingmarketers! This number is one of many that call multiple times a day, everyday. How do they find numbers and if I don't ever answer there calls why not take a hint that I'm not f*cking interested?!

Faithfully ring every week multiple times I often flick the response message off the mobile however after hearing the voip signal sometimes a breathless indian sounding person delivers a twisted intro "How R U today - good?" or the old chestnut my first name wrongly pronounced, I wait until the punchline and sometimes put the phone down on the desk while they rave on, then I say "I am good for all of that thanks" and hang up mid sentence.
