Received a call on my mobile from this number. Definitely Optus marketing their products. She was able to answer all the questions I asked about their mobile and internet products to confirm she was genuine. I wasn't asked for any personal info.

I just had a call from this number on my mobile. Don't know they obtained my number. I was on a call on my landline @ the time, rang back but unusual ring tone, no answer. Thanks for previous I have read.

Had 3 calls from these A-holes. Said were from Optus, tried to get me to change mobile plan - told me her name was Thisari. Sounded like a call centre in the background, I suspect fake noises. Said had to do a credit check, as many details inc bank bsb and a/c number, didn't provide, also asked for cc details - NOT provided, asked many personal questions - very strange. Called 3 times I think, got annoying after a while - I told the sh*t on the line I had recorded our whole conversation (which I have now) and that I was also contacting the police. Told police about it - they are going to investigate the number but said the number is local but originating from overseas - ie. routed number they said. Also called Optus - said they didn't know anything about it and said it wasn't one of their numbers - they tried it just rang once the disconnects. They said will warn customers re. this number. Anyway, if you get a call from this number tell them to piss off!! Best thing to do is don't give them any information about yourself. Guttless criminals.

Recieved two calls, 30.01.12 and 31.01.12. When I called back it rang then disconected.

I had the same, called it back, it answered, then cut out.
