Do not call back. Scam. Called posing as an employee from the Australian Taxation Office and claimed I had frauded the government and would be arrested. Have reported this number to the real ATO. Don't be fooled by this scam!!

I got a call from this number , claiming to be from ATO regarding tax fraud. he said his name was James Anderson. Called back but answer and no reply.

Just had a recorded call from this number from someone pertaining to be from the Tax Department saying I needed to ring them back on this number before a warrant issued for unpaid taxes - yeah right. Feel so sorry for the elderly in the community who might be taken in by these people.

Just a typical scammer
