FAIRFAX MEDIA selling newspaper subscriptions

Ah ha, so it's Fairfax who rang - thank you to previous posters, Alex and Anon (both March 30th), for providing this information. I didn't bother answering the call, as I was talking to friends at the time. And I won't bother calling Fairfax back either. I cancelled my subscription after their job cuts last month. That was the final straw. The Financial Review has been full of typos ever since they outsourced their sub-editing; these latest cuts will lead to even crappier journalism. When I cancelled my subscription over the phone, I refused a series of increasingly desperate offers for months and months of free delivery. Told them at the time I wasn't interested. Now they're hassling me with phone calls. Well, here's an idea: cut your executive salaries, and your marketing budget, and spend the money instead on putting out a decent product. Until then, PI$$ 0FF, AR$EH0LES! Leave me alone. You've done long-term damage to a formerly valuable brand. Is that clear enough for you?
