Received a call from this number this morning. Called it back and the first thing heard is,'this call will be recorded for security purposes', then a ring tone, a short series of beeping noises I gather was meant to be a musical interlude, then the recorded message again. No answer when I returned the call, and no message left when they rang me originally.
Whatever business it is, it has terrible procedures. Leave a message so people know who you are. If people are to be placed on hold if they return the call, have the business name incorporated in the recorded message.
I don't know about anyone else, but I find this type of behaviour shonky and bizarre. I certainly will not be calling them again, nor answering their calls.

I called back number (03) 8657 0020 just kept on ringing no one answered the call and never got any voice mail.
