Caller: Claimed to be from Amazon

A recorded voice machine claiming to be from Amazon seeking your approval for the recent purchase order on an Apple I-Phone 11 for $799.
“If you did not make this order, press 1 now to speak to a representative”.

I have been receiving these calls multiple times so, at one point, I pressed 1 and got to speak to a heavily Indian accent lady.
She asked if I made the order; I said No.

Then she said, ‘your account must have been hacked into. Not to worry Love, I’m here to help you fix it. Please log in to your Amazon account and I will help you cancel the order’.

I told her, there is nothing to fix at my end. I did not order it so nothing to cancel. She was to cancel it at her end if she was from Amazon. Go away and stop calling me every week about the same issue.

A week later, I got the same call again and I blocked the number (03) 8641 1204.

Be aware, they will keep ringing from different numbers. The lady will try to sweet talk to you, calling you Love, etc and she was there to help.
