Caller: Medibank Insurance

Medibank Insurance. I hang up straight away.

Caller: Said they were from Medibank Private

They asked me for details including my date of birth for privacy reasons. I told them to send me a letter or an email about what they were calling me about but they said they would call me back later in the day. I said I still wouldn't give them any information unless I had verification that the call was from Medibank. I had doubts that this was a genuine call and felt it was more likely to be a scam.

I called back number (03) 8639 3936 rang once then gets disconnected automatically.
