I called back number (03) 8634 7998 reached IVR for a company called Telstra.

They never leave a message. Blocked.

Said it was Telstra Head Office in Melbourne - Woman i spoke with at Telstra advised she believes it to be legitimate - they also checked the 1800 # they suggested me to call, it was just and old number.
Have been advised to ask for an employee ID number - should be 6 digits.
Be safe guys, don''t give any information out to them if you're unsure of who they are,get their ID and call Telstra directly to confirm who they are.

rang my Telstra office and they said scam call. block the number and keep blocking all other numbers that come in. I asked them not to call last call and off course that does not work. Be very careful

Scammer pretending to be from Telstra. Number blocked after I called Telstra and they have no record of anyone calling me.

don't know how they got my number. but lucky my phone has caller ID to say that its a suspected Spam call so I don't have to answer.
