They rang so I quickly Googled the number. Here I am. I didn't answer. I hung up.
Charities are like a stray cat. You feed one thinking you're doing the right thing
Before you know it, every bloody stray in the neighbourhood is at your door begging for milk...

Hang up call. When I called back a recording stated it was a Charity fundraising specialist, for Apple marketing group.
I found the following on Google, which explains how to remove yourself from their calling list.

Apple marketing group. Quite pushy and keen on fund raising for charities because of the high 30% commission. Go straight to your charity website to donate to ensure they get 100% of your donation.

Don't bother picking up the phone. If they do answer however, speak to them in Latvian or pretend to do so!😎

Annoying, yes, but a scam, no!.

Apple Marketing Group are an Australian company that handle many well known charities. You can find a list of charities at https://www.applemarketing.com.au/partners/the-charities.

Called, hung up, left no message. Probably wants me to ring - obviously a scam. Dont answer your phone if you do not recognize the number, and dont ring back if there is no message. Normally if someone rings you and you dont answer, they will leave a message.

I didn't answer. They didn't leave a message. Yes spam caller as I've read here now. Do they get free telephone access?

I returned a call from (03) 8617 0899 but reached vm for Apple Marketing Group

This number went through to my message bank, when I checked the had ‘accidentally’ left a message ‘Hello, hello...f@&king dog’ ooops.... I’ve kept the message, hopefully I can find someone to report it to!

I let it go to voicemail, they didn't leave a msg. When I called back, I received a recorded msg from Charity Fundraiser Event with the Apple group?? I blocked the caller

I rang the number and it stated that it was the Apple marketing Fundraising group.

Should be a law to stop people like this constantly ringing. Honest people leave a message they don't
