It's a con ... they call and hang up. When you return the call you first get a taped message saying it's AGL. Then an overseas call centre asks for your name and address and asks if you're transferring to another power supplier. You say "no". But now they have your name, phone number and address with little or no effort. Block the call on the phone.

This appears to be some sort of information gathering scam, where the caller pretends to be from AGL and gets some name, address and DOB details from you under the pretext of checking a request to take over your services. I got caught because I was actually moving house, so it sounded reasonable, but checking with AGL later, none of the changes discussed had been recorded by AGL. I asked, but AGL's help desk staff also don't seem to know about this. :(.

i accidentally had the ‘sort all my connections etc.’ ticked when i was applying for a rental. i was thinking that was probly why they were calling.
but now i ain’t so sure . .

calls my mobile constantly and has done so for the past 3 months or so. Today was the first time that my mobile showed Voice Msg left from the above number.
When I listened to Voice Msg...it was silent and stopped half way through.

I have installed True Caller. When I got a call from this number, my phone displayed - 'Top spammer - Energy Agl Scammer', hence I didn't pick this call. --- SAVED from being scammed

Spam. Blocked. I find it convincing that the caller is AGL. We recently moved house, and were considering transferring all the main connections by Connect Now which wanted us to change to AGL. Sure, they have our info as a result. Now they think they can harass us because we didn't switch to AGL.

This was AGL letting me know that the new owners of the property had requested a transfer of the Gas service, not actually fraud or a scam.

This number rang me twice today on my mobile and each time there was silence on their end. I didn't speak at all. Blocked now

yeah seems sus to me saying they were agl - I have recently moved and am with agl .. they asked about gas and I have no gas connected..?

Got a call from (03) 8611 5195, did not answer the call and then placed on mute. No voice from the caller - I guess the comments here are accurate.

it keeps calling me every morning everyday I’m still sleeping they keep ringing me and drop call the call now they are blocked

Marketing call trying to win me back after switching to a rival supplier.

An Indian guy called me from this number and said he was calling from AGL regarding to our notice to move out. Then he said he need my personal details to verify.I didn't tell him anything but I was fine and no plan to move out. After hanging up, I searched in internet to find out what this number is and found a lot of complains to this number.
