Caller type: Scam call

Caller: "Microsoft" (likely a scam)

A robot voice from "Microsoft" told me I'd be charged $299 to my microsoft account due to account changes and I should call them back on this number to avoid being charged.

I didn't answer but the message was.. `There will be a total(?) deduction of $299 from your bank account etc etc'. Obvious scam and that number is now blocked although they will undoubtedly use another number next time

Caller: Scammer claiming to be microsoft

THIS IS A SCAM. When you answer it says in a recorded voice that its microsoft support and they are going to deduct $300 from your bank account. I rang them back and the guy that answered directed me to a website that allowed remote desktop access. I knew it was a scam and played along with the guy, he eventually got really grumpy with me. I hung up.
