Missed call from this number.Then they sent an eml.They are as incompetent as the Telco we have lodged a complaint about, who have fecked up the same 3 issues 3 or 4 times in a row.
These self regulation orgs are a ripoff.TIO is an arm of the industry they whack with a limp lettuce.We need a a PROPER ombudsman,not one who is part paid for by the ripoffmerchants.
Equally as useful as Fuelwatch and the Do Not Call Register. allof these timewasting orgs are a burden on the taxpayer and community, and the ppl they are supposed to serve are being screwed via their power and rubber teeth. The job creation industry in Canberra is alive and well

The TIO Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman.
I have a Telstra complaint lodged with the TIO and they told me this male caller who did not know my name or TIO reference number was a SCAM caller or possibly someone from Telstra's internal team. The TIO doubted the latter. I gave this caller no information and he hung up when I said he should know my name and complaint number if he really was from the TIO. Be careful!

Like others received an call from TIO without them leaving any voicemail and in a email they sent a template response asking for a brief outline of my complaint because they didn't bother reading a brief outline of my complaint in their own complaints form?

Its the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman. If you've made a complaint about your service provider for phone or internet these guys bring them into line and can force them to respond to the issue. This is a call you want to receive.

No message was left on my phone when TIO called.
An email of a form was supposed to be sent to me, not once but twice. I am now unable to further my complaint with Telstra to get my business phone working correctly. It seems no body wants to help the small business person.

I have a complaint lodged with the TIO, and after several weeks of to-and-fro, I've told them that I'm referring the matter to the Federal Minister for Communications....guess they've NOW become interested, coz they're calling me.

No message left .. and only 5 rings
