Spam!! Scam!!!

I called back the number (03) 8595 5229 and reached vm that said I reached Commonwealth Bank

Claimed to be comm bank, but I doubt a bank would ring on a saturday at noon.
I would consider it to be a scam of some sort

they were claiming to be Commonwealth Bank but couldn't explain who where why or what for and never ask for correct name Totally Faked and trying to scam people ..

Hi received avoice msg from number saying common wealth bank asking me to click on number pad true click 1if this is me to verify my name then asked me for my date of birth which I then hung up .Did fill comfortable give that information to a asking machine so went down to my own branch and got it sorted out lady confirmed it was common wealth bank and yes they do ask you to prove your name and date of birth Come on comm bank you need to be a bit more protective of our information Dontyou think.

I have been getting these calls every day now twice a day always one number l don't answer then two hours later the other number rings me
I still don't answer every day for a month now week days/ weekends it's the same (03) 9068 7827 rings l don't answer TWO hours later it's (03) 8595 5229 ringing me. The same thing day in day out for a month A HOLE SCAMERS l see a lot of you think it's the commwealth bank....
Well let me tell you guys something l have never in my 55years on this planet. HAD AN ACCOUNT WITH A COMMWEALTH BANK AT ALL l bank with ANZ if they want to get my attention l will get a message in my ANZ APP
requesting me to ring the bank. Honestly have a think about that You people say you hear a recorded voice SCAM,SCAM,

I HAVE BEEN RECIEVING THESE TAYLOR TX SCAM CALLS FOR OVER A YEAR,..AND READING THESE COMPLAINTS ALL SAY COMMONWEALTH BANK..I HAVE NEVER HAD A COMONWEALTH BANK CREDIT CARD OR ACCT..I JUST KEEP HANGING UP WHEN THEY CALL AND BLOCK THE NUMBER,,THEN THEY JUST CHANGE THE LAST 4 NUMBERS AND I GET MORE CALLS SAME DAY

Was an automated call from Commonwealth bank regarding credit card payment

It is commbanks debt collection. Got right up them as they had reactivated and a card we had paid out and closed and where chasing a late fee on top of an annual fee..

Received missed call and left voice message. It's automatic voice machine claiming to be from Commonwealth and they seems to know our account name... scarry.. It's a scam call! Don't answer or follow their instruction to press any button...

Called me, left a voice message, claiming to be comm bank. In voice message no message except to call back to this number.

Called me and left a voice message. Claimed to be from commonwealth bank. I don’t even have a commonwealth bank account and it was a recorded voice call. Not a real person. I believe they know my name

I have had multiple calls from this number in the last 2 weeks (up to 5 calls) at odd times also. I decided to call back and heard the automated Commonwealth bank message ...as soon as the person finally answered I hung up as I knew it was a scam by the sound of his voice/manner. Then I quickly rang the offiicial CBA number and told the customer service person that I was returning a call fro the number &mentioned I had multiple calls. She didn't know the number and checked ...there no no record ogf the CBA contacting me & she couldn't explain why. ,

This is definitely a scam nad reading the many comments, particularly those who do not bank with CBA confirms this.

Unfortunately, with all the data security breaches (banks, telecommunications etc) our information is out there & nothing is safe.

I have now blocked the number...but of course they will call back with another number (same pattern). Be aware and if they can't tell you why they are calling hang up !!!

Caller: (03) 8595 5229 - claiming to be COMM Bank

Automated call claiming to be COMM Bank however a scam. Concern is that the automation sounds authentic so be wary- requested verification of last 4 digits of your account however i noted that the digits were wrong.

Caller: (03) 8595 5229 and (03) 9068 7827

BOTH are scam numbers calling simultaneously.
Block both numbers.

Automated message claiming to be com bank

Automated call claiming to be from CommBank. I immediately hang up the phone.. definately SCAM!!

Caller: Commonwealth Bank

Female recorded voice says: "This is an automated message from Commonwealth Bank. To avoid further automated calls dial 1300 130 107" 3rd call in 2 days. I see both numbers are listed as CBA scam calls.

Called Commonwealth bank. Told me number is not theirs and to block it
