Said they were from Google my business- What a joke. Dont tell them anything!

Been getting these calls for a few days. They don’t leave a message and I don’t answer

Said he sent a letter and asked if I was the owner. I said I was not so he asked if the owner was here. I said no so he hung up. Rude. Did not give a name or the company he was supposed to be calling from.

Called, and without introducing himself or the business launched into the spiel that they sent my business a postcard and were calling to follow up. I replied that I had received several of these calls in the past and that I had never once received a postcard. I felt he was alluding that his company had sent the postcard, although Google are the ones that send out postcards.

I believe someone trying to sell me something, although I did not speak when I answered. The male said my name and then hung up but my business has my name on it on Google anyway. Hung up, he rang again and did not leave a message. Googled the phone number and found this thread.

When is the Government going to do something about this rampant unsolicited calling by these snake oil sellers and others like them - enough is enough I get at least three of these per day, evenings, weekends.

Idiots keep calling me about advertising.

Its a company called "Your Business Listing". Seems legitimate, but they keep calling and its getting annoying.

I bet it's australia service centre. They are selling insurance and various other stuff. Have programmed their number into my phone ready to find out next time they call.
