I called back number (03) 8594 2232 it says the number i have dialed is not in service anymore.

I really don't get these scams. Surely they should give you a number that actually works, so they can get information out of you?
I really wish they would pick up, or the number would work. Nothing would please me more then to tell these wankers exactly what I think of them

A pre-recorded message. Recorded in such a way, that you think at first you are talking to a person - until they don't stop for breath and keep talking over you.
The message said that his name was MICHAEL HARRIS, from The Australian Taxation Office, and that there has been a report filed for our Company (or business?) for Tax Avoidance! And there is a number we should call.

The idiots letting them use these numbers should be fined or doing time!!!!

ATO scam caller, a recorded message that says you should call back or a warrant for your arrest will be issued.

Sounds like a scam call (automated voice) - claiming to be contacting me regarding tax fraud. Second call of this nature in the last 2 weeks but from different numbers.
