SCAMMERS. Indian call centre, called at 7pm on a Thursday, pretending to be from the Australian government. BLOCKED!

Called 3 times over 2 months, phone detected as spam

They said my name and said call was for my son. When I didn’t reply yes or no and with just a huh what huh they hung up annoying

This number is calling me every now and then. Answered it once and knew they are scammers. They try to let me download an app explaining to delete a virus that scammers send it to me thru SMS. However, the app once you downloaded and activated, gives them access to all your data or info - email, bank accounts/passwords, mobile apps and others without you knowing. I only saw the app, didn't download it (You will know right away its wrong because it shows - "remote access..").Blocked this phone number but they are persistent using different numbers like (02) 7201 8424; (02) 9071 0257; (02) 7202 6709; (02) 9071 0292; (02) 4062 8775 and a lot more. so please beware.

Got a text telling me to call this number from the "Bendigo Bank". Googled the number, got this page, so I'm adding this scam attempt to the list.

Hung up as soon as I answered

Initial call early evening and hung up when answered. Followed by multiple calls late at night. Blocked.
