Credit corp debt collection

I rang this number back after it had called me and they were very evasive, told me it's a group of companies but that's all they would say. Wouldn't go any further without identifying myself. Debt collectors or some kind of scam

Someone called Simon answered the phone. he said they manage many businesses and if i give my name he will see who called but due to privacy reasons he couldnt tell me the businneses they look after? I would say they are debt collectors

called me. did not pick up

I called back number (03) 8582 1805 reached voice mail but did not say from what company.
