I received a letter a week ago with Australian Federal Government logo.Said that Social Research Centre are doing a survey on the ageing on the Department's behalf and would ring to enquire if we were prepared to partake in the survey.I didn't answer the call because I am not interested in taking the survey.They didn't leave a message.
Probably legit.

checked this out, cant find anything in the government associated with this except the the Australian national university, who ever they are, seems legit but i would be cautious on what answers you give, i was asked how many elderly lived in the house, dont like answering things like that in case some one comes to see, and perhaps get mugged, dont like the calls late at night, they are always suss.

My husband answered the phone he has Dementia and is very deaf I have no idea what they wanted but he told them he wasn't interested.

Any number that calls and hangs up is a nuisance call, bogus call or scammer calling, No Excuses...
