Told me I was the only person in my Street without NBN - total scam

Saying he was an nbn provider and gave me my address and it was coming into my area. Said to him already with a provider and he hung up. Scammers continue to call even with certain countries already blocked from ringing my number.

Said he was calling in regards to my nbn, gave my home number and said we have had nbn for a long time, have we not.
I questioned what exactly he was calling for as I work for an NBN company and his response was no worries and he hung up

Feel that he is a scammer. Please be warned! 03/10/18 Knew where I lived said that there had been NBN workers in the street.{quite true} Wanted to know my age, birthday etc my wife's birthday and so on.

Tricked me ,I think into saying yes,by confirming my age..however did finish up call when said over 75 ...so wether they use that yes as a commitment to signing up ,who knows..was Indian caller.

I called back number (03) 8579 6718 spoke to a guy but did not say for what company.
