Caller: Supposedly nbn receive as many as six calls a day
Will someone put a piece of lead in these bastards head and stop them wasting my time
Some f king Indian accent about NbN roll out,
Called asking for the owner. Asked what it was regarding, and she replied "NBN". After trying to ascertain in what aspect of the NBN it was for so I could put her on to the correct person, she hung up on me.
FYI - I know it was a bullsh*t scam call, so tried to appear to be helpful while not being helpful at all (just in case management were around). I love messing with these people! LOL
Caller: Indian man "Deep"
Called about NBN. Very pushy. Knew my name and the school I work at. Asked for our address. Told me the NBN has begun works in our area and they need to make our phone line NBN ready. Advised that we'll be givin an unlimited quote for $79.99 a month. I could tell it was a scam, asked him for the address so I could send the money. He said "James why do you need my address, this is not a scam call." I said "I didn't say anything about a scam call" He said "Why are you talking about money then?" I said "well you said it will be $79.99 a month, where am I supposed to send the money. After some arguments he admitted I could pay by cheque. I said then what address do I send the cheque to? He said lets finish this application first then we can discuss that. I said ok send me the application in the mail and I'll complete it. He said ok goodbye and hung up.
Caller: nbn scammer
dirty inidan man only if police took the time to catch these low life scum
I called back the number (03) 8579 6707, rang 5x and got disconnected automatically Hang up. Called back and rang out. Caller was very cagey about who the company was. Mentioned it was about the NBN but was from a company 'Intex?'.. I was very polite saying I'm not interested however he persisted until I said I was going to hang up, which I did while he was still talking. I have received many calls, sometimes twice a day, from this number as it shows on the number display phone. I do not answer and there is never a message on messagebank Have been calling my mobile number relentlessly every night, usually around 5-6pm for the last 2 weeks or so. They tried again last night so I answered. Indian accent asked if I was Mr X - I said "Do I sound like a male?" "Oh I'm sorry Ma'am are you Mrs X?" No I'm not, don't call this number again!! Didn't give them the time to find out if NBN or Origin or what. Bassssstards! Rang at 4.00 am and woke me up. Did not answer. I was waiting for a call from the hospital so they scared the life out of me. Caller: Call centre B Vivid"- clearly a scammer
Rang (my retail workplace) asking for someone by name (Mrs Crik). Did not say where they were calling from. I said there's no-one here by that name and asked where they were calling from. Asked if I was the business owner without answering. I said you can't be asking someone a series of questions without saying WHO IS CALLING. (I knew for sure it was a scammer by now). Told me - could not understand 5 times and eventually got B Vivid/Be Vivid NBN. Told him there was no one here by that name and how unprofessional he was, when he hung up on me! I did ring back the number and they answered B Vivid - (shows as local Vic number).
Caller: Indian accent Re; NBN Roll out
Had several calls asking for the manager, when I said he wasn't available, they hung up. Rang again today stating our business name, I asked what it was regarding. He said it was about the NBN roll out. I told him we already had it, he then asked when it was put on, which I told him. When I told him we were under contract with Telstra, he lost interest and ended the call. Time wasters!
Caller: (03) 8579 6707

Caller: Nbn scammers
Called me many times. Very annoying!
Indian accent, called about NBN. Told him I already have NBN. He says: "No you don't have NBN" I hung up. Rings constantly but as Ihave put them off previously, always hang up in my ear. Why don't they learn that I sit at Receiption and they are alsways going to get me?! LOL Trying to sell NBN.
We cant get NBN through any provider.
We are not on the NBN map!
Caller: An Indian man who wouldn't identify his Company
This guy wanted the owner of the business and of course he denied he was in a call centre. He said it was about the telephone account (do they think we're born yesterday)? After his second pushy request I advised that he was harassing me and I was terminating his call. These nuisances are such a waste of our time !
Caller: Indian accent marketer
Message about NBN . Knew our name. That's easy; we're in the phone book. We are also on the do not call register, but that doesn't seem to stop anyone! SCAMMERS!
