Automated call for a "survey on Australian politics". Called my mobile number on a Sunday afternoon!

I called back number (03) 8578 4758 reached IVR for Community Engagement.

Recorded voice saying survey on VIC quarantine centre in remote area. Press 3 for yes, etc. How do I know if this is legit? I pressed nothing.

Didn't answer but reading all the comments will block it

Got a call from (03) 8578 4758. Have seen comments here about it being from the Labor Party, but it's not. It's a survey being conducted on behalf of the Liberal Party! I wouldn't vote for them if they paid me.

Gutless: weren't prepared to have a discussion. They are filth!

Tried calling back wouldn’t respond

Got called and no message was left. I’m not going to try to call them by the looks of this

After hours call, no voicemail left. Checked here, blocking…

Did not recognise number - did not answer - no message - read comments on this site. Number now blocked

Called tonight about 1830. Screen said "POTENTIAL FRAUD" I did not answer. Went into internet to find out that numerous people have received calls from the number & most that answered said that it was a recording from the Labour Party. 1 person said they have blocked & reblocked the number. I then blocked the number.

Just got a call from this number (6.47pm Melbourne time). I didn't answer as I no longer answer if I don't recognise the number, especially after 5pm. No message left so pretty sure it's another scam.
