Legit call from ANZ. They were confirming details from a credit card application I had submitted. They sent a text beforehand advising of the call.

Caller (Indian accent) claimed to be from ANZ. Facts didn't tally when asked further.

Called ANZ 13 22 73 to check the identity of this number. Confirmed the Victorian number is from ANZ credit card . The caller has filipino accent. Their Call Centre is based in Philippine
Checked your MMS first. ANZ usually send you a message before they call. Mine was in the spam and missed it. That is why the surprise.

ANZ calling about a credit card application. They sent a text message before hand. Legit but they're calling from India and barely understandable.

Hello I sent a message to you later this afternoon about what time the bank should call me at 11:30 am tomorrow morning. But I have a doctor's appointment then. Would it be possible to change it to 12:30 pm tomorrow afternoon please. Sorry for the trouble. It is about a credit card. Thank you

He called about a credit card
I accidentally lost the call
I rang back, they said they sent and SMS asking to give a time for them to ring back. I never received it. I would have told them to ring at 11:30 am tomorrow morning. So how can I get the time to them?

ANZ texted me to say they were going to call. Then the number above called shortly afterward, i missed it. The number in their text that they asked me to call back on isn't listed on their website. Specifically their security page says not to call back this type of messaging as it could be a fraud. If it is them, their new business team should read their own rules and not look like scammers. For reference, the 1800 call back number isn't listed anyone of ANZs webpage under business or private systems.

Be wary, he said that my problem hadn’t been attended to, rang the bank on their website and they said that it had been dealt with twice. Reported this no to the bank. Unsure

This seems to be very weird. When call back an automated message comes advising that they tried calling us but if we have to call back then we have to advise in message and message is from +614 and not ANZ itself
