"Bruce" with a heavy Indian accent claiming to be calling on behalf of the Victorian Government wanting to install a free energy monitoring device. Did not state the name of the company he works for. No doubt a phishing scam, seeking personal details.

I received a phone call from this number this afternoon. I was in a meeting so could not answer. No message was left. I tried to phone back several times but the number was engaged every time. I have now blocked this number due to the comments from others on this page.

These are scam calls from this number. They kept ringing me. I have now blocked the number.

5 calls already today, I’m so fed up with getting this crap! This time I’ve answered and just said “f#ck off”.. I wish someone would start putting a stop to the constant scam calls.. The poor legit callers from fundraising foundations have no chance now as everyone has stopped answering most of their calls..

These people are so annoying, even though I've told them again and again that I don't want any device, they continuously call with different numbers!

These bastards never learn. They take absolutely no notice of the DO NOT CALL REGISTER. IF this is a legit Government initiative, then when are the Government going to respect the register THEY SET UP? And if they are scamming creeps? When are they going to GET A REAL JOB LIKE THE REST OF US??

I answered the phone.. despite not knowing the number.

The person on the other end has zero phone etiquette. I answered the call without saying who I was. I refused to confirm my name until they introduced themselves. Obviously not on their script.

Scam caller. I don’t know of any business who would cold call without introducing themselves. Asked them nicely twice.

Would not confirm who I was speaking to. They hung up on me. Calling back, you only get a busy number.

They ring and ask if you have a power meter, if you ask any questions they hang up then keep trying to call you. If you call back it says the number is busy
