Caller: Scam eBay call

Called me this afternoon from an Adelaide phone number (03) 8457 2080 saying my eBay account has been compromised, from using a Gift voucher. (Which I just got a $5 off voucher from eBay last night that I then used on a purchase, for local tea). They guy sounded Indian & would not give me any information except that the purchase of $299.00 of the Gift voucher looks suspicious in my eBay account & they are stopping it. And all he can tell me is that it came from Shanghai, & done through my Debit card. I asked which card & what is the last 4 digit of.. he said he can't give out that information. I was about to give him my email address to get proof of this fraudulent activity but I started asking him questions instead. He said I must've been looking up youtube music videos online & the hackers have got in that way. I said no I have not so that's not true, so how did they get my information? He just kept saying there is a hacker & over talking me & couldn't provide me with any proof. I said we are just going around in circles & I don't know what is actually really going on here.. then he hung up on me. Was quite rude.ha Beware.

i have no idea what this is about, but I did call the number and then they wanted my full name and mentioned eBay. ????? very strange I hung up.
