I called back the number (03) 8400 6155 and the guy on the other line said I reached Utility Offers

obvious scam, avoid them

No response when I answered.

When will the Government do something about the usage of these numbers and the way these people prey on the OLD!!!!

“Electricity rates are going up on 1 July” but they can’t tell you the new rates unless you confirm your address and are the account holder.

Called twice one night at 6.35pm, i answered and listened then they hung up. They rang the next night at 7.30pm again answered they hung up again.

Yes hey said that I needed a fire wall as someone was trying to hack my phone and personal details as well as my internet banking. When I said I don’t have internet banking after about 10 mins on the phone he hung up.
