Call centre workers flogging electricity plans

I phoned back...message "thank you for calling Compare Your Bills"

I don't answer numbers that I don't recognise. Glad I didn't this time. Seems a good option! Ignore them & they will go away.

Received calls 4 times over 2 hours from this number. After reading these comments I will block

Persistent nuisance calls

Called 4 times today from 2.30pm to 5.45pm. I did not answer any, no messages left!!!
Receiving similar phone calls as above from another number (03) 8751 8350. Multiple calls.

Caller: No answer when answered

Continuously calling, no one on the line. Blocked number

They knew my name...but didn't leave a message telling me what its about - always a bad sign

Called twice from Victoria while I live in NSW

Caller: Suspected Spam

Suspected Spam on Samsung smart caller ID. Didn't answer. Received 4 calls in 4 hours, before blocking. It's spam.

I hung up the moment I heard it was a spammer before I got the company name.

Caller: Call Centre from outside Australia

Called three times so I ended up blocking number. Call centre (Overseas) trying to swap your electricity plan (cannot verfify that that is legitimately what they do)

Hanged up straight away called me twice in 3 hrs, called back and it said was about comparing electricity.

Caller: (03) 8400 6096

Called and left a msg. "Hello...hello....(said my name)...hello....

Then hung up.

They called me saying they were for electricity them instantly after that they said it was dominos

Called work number, hung up once I answered. I called it back, recorded message from "Compare your bills" gas & elec comparisons. Gave me an option to add our number to the do not call register, which I did. Hopefully it works!

Caller: Call Centre (from background noise)

Received a call from (03) 8400 6096 (supposedly from the area of Eltham Victoria). Caller did not identify himself and he hung up. Rang the number back (from a private number) and the message indicated it was in relation to electricity bills. Obviously a call centre or scammer.

Answered called. They hung up straight away.

Guy called about outstanding electricity account for my business - my business has never had an electricity account in its name so I believe this is a scam call.
