This number has phoned twice a week for the past couple of weeks, as I don't know anyone interstate, I ignored it, does anyone know who it is?

Caller: Annoying repeat calls

Crapping on about some government initiative to install free water efficient shower heads. Requests for them to stop calling do not work. I generally suggest they go away in a fairly blunt way.

keep getting calls from numbers starting 03 8400 30 with the last 2 digits different

I never answer a number I do not know. They never leave a message so they have to be scammers

Since buying raffle tickets in Camp Quality I have been bombarded with calls from this number in Etham and heaps similar except last two digits, from Clayton. I keep blocking them but .... Tonight I started getting them from a WA number. Give me strength!

I have had this number call me almost daily for the week or so... i finally answered today.
there was silence and then i heard the click and a person started to talk... sounded like one of those scam calls so i hung up and blocked the number.

Caller: "Charity Survey" something-something

VOIP Call centre, started off going on about a charity survey and then launched into a sales pitch.
Super-Duper Scammy.

Multiple calls from (03) 8400 xxxx numbers. I ignore them, but am thinking about answering it with "Scam investigation department, which scam are you reporting?"

Same number or others starting with 03 48400, every day, i don't answerer now, as they hang up the times I did.

Arseholes that have no right to call you. The long delay in answering is a giveaway. Hang up and/or block them

I did not answer but agree with the repeatative 8400 prefix number statement.
I just get puzzled when I read different posts of what the call is. e.g. charity, government
Product like cheap NBN. Etc.

Called three times to-day, I answered but silence then the number hung up.

I answered it. Long silence then cut out.

Another similar call from yesterday. Last 2 numbers different. Blocked.

Same here. Didnt recognise the number but did not answer the call. Have it listed near the phone as a possible scam caller.
