Caller: (03) 8400 3016 Answered the call with my name instead of hello. After a 10 second delay the phone disconnected. Have found this works for most of the random number call generators as they are looking for "hello" to connect. Say speak to me or your name and they seem to stop calling. Blocked number anyways - but every bit helps. Called at 8pm Melbourne time

I too have received multiple calls from this number and many others recently. Coincidently, these commenced after I contacted a company called Health Deal as I was looking for a health insurance quote. Are they connected???

I'm so, so sick of this plague of scamming pests. They call on slightly different numbers, never leaving a message. All they seem to want to do is drive people crazy in their own homes. There must be something that can be done about this.

Yea, never answer with 'yes' as it WILL trigger the robot, and could worse! I have taught myself to listen first, if its a robot it will disconnect in time. Let the caller initiate the conversation, after all, they made the call. If it's a genuine call, tell them the reason why you are apprehensive. walk softly
