VM Saying that Vodafone had "an exciting new offer"

I called back the number (03) 8396 4455 but the call didn't go through

Caller: Vodafone Australia

I called back and got an automated message from Vodafone asking me to hold for an operator as they had an exciting new offer. I am a Vodafone customer.
I did not stay on the line as it was during work hours.

The operator cannot speak English clearly and she still wanted to lie to me. seriously?

No one answer. then hang up

Phoned twice and when i called back it was an automated message saying, "exciting new offer from vodafone, please hold while i connect you to an operator"

Hung up cause i don't have the money to go through with any offer anyway.

Hang up as soon as I answered the call.

Caller: I dont know - but assume its Vodaphone or one of their telemarketing allies.

Yes - same here. They sent a text to my 85yr old mum then they keep trying to call her multiple times a day. So we have the blocked the number. Thanks to everyone for your input on this online service.

First it went silent then they hung up

Called me multiple times within a month. I didn’t pick up.

I didn't answered, thought may be a crank?

Called twice in one day and when we answered it was silent.

This is a constant problem of late several calls a day from these numbers and Sydney numbers it’s the same thing - silent then cuts off
How besides blocking do we stop these calls!

Tried to pick up but was immediately disconnected - when trying to call back, it didn't go through.
