Caller: I don't know This number calls me daily, I answer and it hangs up. I return the call and all I hear is a computer generated voice saying "GOODBYE". Smells like a scam.

Caller: Scammer THIS IS NOT LEGITIMATE!!!!!!!
Go to your local Vodafone shop to get an upgrade. NEVER get sucked in by so-called call canvassers. NEVER give bank account or credit card details to anyone who calls you, pretending to be from a phone company. IT'S A SCAM!!!!!!!
Google phone scams, if you don't believe me. The problem has become much worse recently.

Caller: Vodafone This is all legit. I had the same call and was very sceptical so made them send a text with verification which they did. I had a history of text from Vodafone with past complaints via text so all checked out. Essentially they are cold calling to try to get you to upgrade plans or phones.

As above...they say it's Vodafone. Want to talk to me about my phone plan and see if I can upgrade. I just upgraded four days ago and told them this. They then asked for my four digit pin. I said I've already upgraded. I'm happy with plan and you don't need my pin number. And hung up.

Caller: Apparently vodaphone Not sure if legit, they sent me a message and said it was from vodaphone but then asked me for my pin number. Sounds fishy to me! Told them I'll call them back as I was busy on the train but he became persistent and pushy about the pin number - I hung up after that.

phone suggests possible fraud, I answer, silence and hangs up, this happens every now and then and I recall it is vodafone... the system automatically dials numbers, it connects and in theory one of their agents takes over... if it all goes to plan.... pretty average really and I think I'll drop VF.

Caller: Vodaphone I am getting these calls usually after 8 at night. If it's like the one my partner got from Telstra offering him a great deal on a new phone, he agreed, phone never arrived so I rang Telstra and it's a private company that rings people for them, so I am thinking Vodaphone have the same thing. I cancelled my partners new phone, told them he will go direct to them if he wants a new one.
