I hung up when they said it was being recorded. Foreign voice, sounded like a call centre.

This number said they were from my local council, when I told them they were calling from an 03 number and I lived in an 02 area they hung up

Returned called. Continually engaged. Blocked.

Caller: They said Australian Bureau of Statistics

Asked if my age was in a specific age range. I had to ask several times to understand. When I said y age was not in their range they immediately hung up.

Could hear call centre voices in the background

I rang back the number (03) 8391 8769, spoke with someone who hung up right away
