Pick up, calling to sell a discounted tablet cause their company (which they’ll say is your mobile provider) has chosen me as the winner. Overall I was pretty chill was it since it was a scam anyways, so waste their time and don’t give any credit information ever! Stay scam free/waste their time too it your up for it

This number [(03) 8383 2789], and which I presume to be a Qld or Brisbane-based land line number (we are mobile, in another State hundreds and hundreds of km away), phoned in the evening (way after normal business hours for Eastern Standard time), and I let it ring out (which I usually do, straight up, as standard personal protocol, with calls from uknown numbers), and neither did it leave any message afterwards, but at the same arrived a warning message from our provider, stating that it was a 'Suspected Scammer Caller". The latter was not surprising, as I have also had a number of similar attempted calls from (03) originating calls, and with very similar number configuration commencing with 83... ... (if not alao the very same one before). So (and as also with standard personal protocol) I threw the number into Google, and here, ...and, sure enough, ...found many other complaints about this same number, so... ...yeah, I too am flagging it as a Scammer (or at least nuisance/serial-pest) number.
