I called back the number (03) 8383 4907 and reached vm that said I reached Social Research Centre

Got a note from them earlier in the week. They want me to participate in a piece of social research

They didn't leave a message and were calling on a Sunday, had a few calls from 03 numbers lately

Caller: Probably ID thief

Talks as an Government officials, but she was not professional. She lost her mind when I asked a few questions. She asked me to confirm my email ID when I refused to talk to her. She been forcing to talk to her

from a health survey center. Called twice to do survey, and he said he got my number just by randomly searching. Block now.

Caller: Australian Man

Wanted to do a quick survey for a Uni, I said sure. First question was what state i was, when i said Victoria they hung up.

They have called several times in the last few days. After I said I was not interested, they called my home number and asked to speak to me. They said they were from a Government Department but called from private numbers.

The person said she called on behalf Social Research Centre, and asked for contact information regarding my current workplace. She turned out to be very rude and unprofessional once I said I was not comfortable giving her this information. Blocked the number.

Called about a training course and outcomes then asked a raft of questions about my personal work situation. Very dodgy

PROFESSIONAL DEPT, SEND OFFICIAL LETTERS AND NEVER ASK FOR DETAILS ON THE PHONE - WHEN IN DOUBT, LEAVE IT OUT - OR CALL YOURSELF WHATEVER DEPT THEY PRETEND TO BE FROM, BUT (DO NOT REPLY OR PRESS/CALL BACK ON THE DOUBTFUL NUMBER RECEIVED). THEN ALSO BLOCK THAT NUMBER ON YOUR MOBILE OR DELETE IT.

I generally don't answer these darned calls but this time I did so in the unlikely event that it was legitimate. It wasn't. "My name is XXX [like that means anything] and I'm calling on behalf of XXX " That's all I need to hear. Instant hang up, number blocked.

Called randomly on a Friday night, I missed it and they didn’t leave a message

I received a call from (03) 8383 4907, from a health survey center. The woman on the phone spoke as though she had some entitlement to call me on my phone on a Sunday afternoon. I wasn't even asked if I minded to take the call on my Sunday afternoon. I was told she was doing her job, so, as I found the woman conceited.I put the phone down and blocked that number. Politeness and respect can't be that difficult. Maybe it was a script but I was not interested in speaking to that kind of approach. Good luck.

Called all the time in busy time of the day. Never spoke with them but they dont leave messages.
