SCAM caller

I called back number (03) 8375 8904 rang once then gets disconnected automatically.

I answered and got no response. Blocked.

Caller: RE: Energy replacement scheme

It is about changing your light globes supposedly through Victorian Government for free, which they do have a scheme but I am 99% sure this number is not it.

Caller: Some or other company RE my Utility bill

I dont have any utility (Electricity & GAS) bill and they called to inform me that my rates have been revised. i just told him there are no rates to be revised as I don't have a utility account. Then they hung up.

We do not to answer unknown numbers to us.
They did need leave a message so obviously their call was for nothing important.

When I picked up, they immediately hung up.

Did not manage to pick up the phone but they left no message. So based on the comments in here I will not call them back

Just got a call from this number regarding Energy replacement scheme but he sounded really dodgey. It was his 2nd time to call and he wanted to tell me about how I can save electricity by changing from Energy Australia. I said "i'm not interested" and then he said "why? why wouldn't you be interested in saving money" so I said "i just am not" then he said "are you from china? why are you wasting our time you idiot" and hang up. WTF was that about... he was so dodgey.

Sounded like a scam. Called claiming my electricity rates on my bill being wrong and asking when i got my last bill. Hung up.

this number keeps calling, I have now blocked it.

They didn’t leave a message, so after looking at the above comments, I blocked the number. Life’s too short to put up with nuisance calls. 😫
