This number is being used by a scammer using the name Jason O'Connor and claiming to be from the ATO.

A message was left on our machine claiming police had a warrant for our arrest for tax fraud. Total scam.

Thanks for all that very useful info. This guy rang my elderly friend and scared her pretty much - she doesn't even pay tax! She's reported the call to the Scam Line. I hope nobody falls for this.

Left a very generic American automated message saying there is a warrant for our arrest around tax evasion and to call their hotline number to sort it out. Scam do not fall for it!

Anonymous on (03) 8375 8540 - Scam. Asks for callback by self or lawyer. Caller sounds American. I'm not returning the call - they don't even know my name.
