Caller: some very dodgy electricity supplier (supposedly)

asked where they obtained my 'silent' home phone number - from a data vendor!!! Someone has been selling my details without my permission and making money from it - surely I'm entitled to a cut, especially when I NEVER check the box that agrees to this.

Unsolicited call. Recorded voice message on returning call with 'Press 1' to hear more. At best, another shameless telemarketing intrusion. At worse, a scammer trying to get your details to benefit themselves. I am blocking this number.
