Caller: Electricty telemarketing scam

When you tell them not interested at the start you are then passed onto a 'supervisor' and then get aggressive when you tell them not to ring and they argue are just 'helping' about new rates. No wonder some get conned into it. These numbers should have to be public listed with company/address details when you search for the number.

Have had 2 calls from this number today says craigburn vic

No message, received a couple of call from this number without saying anything and no message at all as well

Caller: Telemarketer

Calls once per day, usually after 5PM AEST. No voice on the other end. Calling back plays an automated message about them calling you regarding some "great deals" and their operating hours.

Called back within the business hours they provided. The automated message states they want to talk to you about telecommunication and internet services. 100% scam call.

Scam rubbish.

So much for the government "Do not call register"

Caller: Benefit deal

This number some other number from benefit deal call me 10 times daily I sick of it.

Called multiple times left random messages “ hello are you there”. Have blocked.

Caller: I don't know

Keep calling multiple times throughout the day but when you answer no one is there.

They sound like the dodgy brothers incorporated

Caller: "Benefit Deal" energy comparison

Just had a call from (03) 8372 3232, showing up as Craigieburn, Victoria. Background sounded like an overseas call centre though. Guy with slight Indian or Filipino accent said he's calling from Benefit Deal which is an energy comparison company. Sounded like a scam to me. I kindly said that I'm not interested, but he persisted that I listen to the rates. I declined again and he hung up. It's kind of worrying that they had my full name, mobile & suburb. Clearly another company has sold my details to them.
