NRG choice/energy choice - electricity company making out that they’re someone from the government calling about an initiative but it’s really them trying to make you sign with them.

I told them my mum pays the bills and that this isn’t her number but they keep ringing me! They said earlier “where is she? She must be at work - ok- I’ll call back later” like, no. Ps. It was an Indian lady and she sounded slow.

Constantly calls no response tried calling back claims disconnected. Rings late at night if reheat will call a gain and again

They called 3 times today til I answered - not sure if a scam or not but they said they’re calling everyone in Victoria to let us know we are entitled to 43% off our electricity bills and asks if we are currently getting that discount with our current provider or not.
I just said my mum pays the bills lol
